6-Advice and consultancy

The CCMM network can be contacted for advice and consultancy on basic microbiology as well as on more specialised topics covered by the expertise of Collections and/or the Host Laboratory. All advice and information are provided on a confidential and impartial basics and on a range of scientific issues of microbiological importance.

7-Training

Training can be offerd to introduce different approaches to strain maintenance, characterisation, identification and collection management. The activities range from courses and workshops to hosting research fellows and personalised training

8- Educational service

For teaching purposes, a number of strains have been selected which can be used to demonstrate most of the biochemical characteristics used for common bacterial identification.

9- Contract research

Research activities are linked to projects with public funding, international cooperation and with industry.
